News › Castra Hiberna Project - Ahead of Schedule!

Bellum Aeternus (Corporate Ticker [BAID]) is pleased to announce the onlining of our Castra Hiberna station well ahead of schedule. Our initial deployment deadline was for late September but due to a declaration of war levied against us we were forced to fast-track the deployment. Everything went very smoothly despite the crunch!

The tower is fully operational and has been providing a safe haven and home for our pilots for several days now. Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you to the alliance pilots that assisted in the escort fleet.

The escort fleet heads out! Forward scouts have reported in and the picket fleet is ready to screen the convoy should any enemy forces threaten the convoy.

The Escort fleet arrives at the last jump gate on our route before meeting up with the haulers that will take the tower and its components to our survey location for deployment.

The control tower is anchored and fueling has begun. Several haulers wait close in to the tower while the combat fleet provides cover at the adjoining gates. This was the longest 60 minutes of the entire operation...

The shields finally come online. Our tower is up! Anchoring of the defense systems and storage hangars begins and four hours later...

The weapons and shield arrays are online along with our maintenance and hangar bays. Our home away from home is humming along and we're on the map claiming sovereignty for our alliance!
