We've been saving our pennies for a rainy day, and I hear thunder . . .
BAID has purchased a Caldari Carrier and Minmatar Freighter for use by the Corp. The Carrier will not only help us defend our new home, but enable us to haul ice and minerals back and forth from low-sec. One jump = UPS! The Freighter will help with those larger items, as well an when we inevitably have to move.
Ph33r our 1337 haulage!
I am pleased to announce that BAID has joined up with "The Mahkai" alliance. The Mahkai are a group of seasoned players who hold a portion of Vale of the Silent, in conjunction with the Pure and Hydra Alliances. This puts us back into 0.0 space and ready to kick butt and/or take down names.
We have more exciting news on the way . . watch this space!
BAID is back in the saddle, doing a little mining op in Lowsec. Didn't make amazing money, but we're getting back into the swing of the lowsec, no sec thing.
How's that for an Oz reference? After many wipes, and trying different strategies we struck upon a winner that was reminiscent of our first Nef kill - everything just fell into place and the pieces got knocked down - boom boom boom. Our fourth Karazhan boss kill was especially satisfying!
After a 2-month hiatus as we took off for holidays and then leveled to 70, BAV raiding is back in da house! On our first night of 10-man raiding we were able to field two 10-man Karazhan teams. Team Genoobi took the lead - downing Attunmen the Huntsman and Midnight, followed shortly by Team Ezweb. Trash repop proved a major pain in the ass, but after some wipes, repair runs and reclearing - Team Ezweb persevered and downed Moroes.
The Burning Crusade is almost upon us and in preparation Lord Kruul has been sniffing around Azeroth spoiling for a fight. Bellum was happy to oblige and brought him down handily outside of Winterspring so he could suck on a lil snow.
Thanks to the support of our members, we have grown over the last year to a new, faster, more robust hosting service, as well as a more reliable, clearer TeamSpeak server farm. We want to continue to offer every possible new upgrade to our membership that comes around!
Bellum Aeternus is a 100% "Legate-funded" enterprise -- and we very much accept and are grateful for donations to offset our operating costs. Our PayPal link (the account is my own, as the BA "CFO") has been up on the right-hand-side of our site for some time -- today, I am glad to announce the first of our "Recurring Donation" offerings! This first button will set-up a recurring US$5 donation to the BA Treasury.
We appreciate you, and your membership -- regardless of your ability to give. Thank you for your support!
Several months ago Raskull & Serafina (of WoW KT) were interviewed as part of a CNBC documentary on how they met in the MMO Asheron's Call. As part of the interview the crew captured them leading a Molten Core raid with the rest of the guild. That documentary is finally airing on November 15th (check local listings). We haven't seen the final edit so we have no idea how much made it into the final documentary - click through for a blurb we found on Youtube for the show.
Our second boss in the Naxxramas goes down! As other guilds falter and disintegrate in the shadow of the impending WoW Expansion - Bellum marches on! Onto Faerlina!
