After a few runs, a lot of hard work, and plenty of resist gear added to our inventories, Despair and Bellum Aeternus took down Harla Dar! A quickly put together Pick Up Raid ended up in success and a lot of excitement downing the Dragon in the Temple of Scale.
Thank you to all of those that brought their resist gear, as Harla likes to throw out some nasty Cold and Magic AE's. A special Thanks to Galgoran for crafting and supplying the raiders with resist trinkets. It really helped to make this raid a succes. Thank you to Undorett and Sarabi of Despair for leading this raid so expertly, and a final thank you to all of those fine folks outside the Bellum Aeternus - Despair Alliance that helped us to make this a successful Run.
BA's ranked Battlefield 2142 server will be up on Wednesday Oct 18th after 1:00 pm PST (or thereabouts). Also at that time the Demo server will be shut down. Please bear with us during the update. We are still waiting on the CC admin program to be updated as well.
We don't know if the server IP will be the same, but as soon as we get the info, we will post it here in the forums.
Feel free to join up in the BA community TeamSpeak server if you are one of the lucky ones who gets their game early. If the server is full (and it has been for the demo), we have admins who will remove players for BA members to join.
We do have BF2142 channels set up for you to join in all of the fun!
The BF 2142 Demo is available now to those who pre-ordered the CE from EA. The rest may get it by Friday night. For those who are fortunate to have it now, and for those who will be getting it Friday or Saturday, BA has it's very own BF 2142 Demo Server!

Bellum Aeternus is pleased to provide killboard tracking services to our membership and to our alliance, Storm Armada.
The killboard is an important tool in tracking the progress of the corporation and the alliance in any active campaign. It allows us to gauge pilot activity by recording wins and losses while also gathering excellent information on the enemies that we face. We sincerely hope that this tool will allow all of our pilots to monitor their own progress and that each win or loss will stand as a learning experience.
All pilots are reminded that both killmails and lossmails generated from PvP interaction should be posted within 24 hours of receipt.
A big thank you goes out to Peter Principle for configuring the sub-domain, PHP installation and SQL database. The current layout is still using the 'default' graphics while we search for a better layout. We have been fortunate enough to receive his wisdom and guidance almost since the first days of Bellum Aeternus -- he is stepping down, but is far from leaving our ranks, and will immediately join the ranks of the Emeritus.
Bellum Aeternus (Corporate Ticker [BAID]) is pleased to announce the onlining of our Castra Hiberna station well ahead of schedule. Our initial deployment deadline was for late September but due to a declaration of war levied against us we were forced to fast-track the deployment. Everything went very smoothly despite the crunch!
The tower is fully operational and has been providing a safe haven and home for our pilots for several days now. Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you to the alliance pilots that assisted in the escort fleet.

The escort fleet heads out! Forward scouts have reported in and the picket fleet is ready to screen the convoy should any enemy forces threaten the convoy.
We've got a number of BA members who are interested in the upcoming MMO from Sigil and SOE, Vanguard. We've started a developmental forum for those interested in starting up a possible Vanguard province within Bellum Aeternus.
